Dr. Neil S. Aguilo, DC

Biography

Dr. Neil was born in Agana Guam. He was schooled off and on between the U.S. and the Philippines. Once his father joined the Navy, Dr. Neil traveled from California, to Virginia, to Washington where his father retired from the Navy and his family began placing roots in 1987.

Dr. Neil is a local graduate of South Kitsap High School, class of 1991. Following high school he attended Central Washington University where he graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Biology degree in 1996.

In 1998, Dr. Neil began attending the Los Angeles College of Chirorpactic, where he graduated in April 2001 with a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree. He began working as an intern for a chiropractic and sports medicine firm based in Redondo Beach in July 2001. In September 2001, Dr. Neil acquired his license to practice chiropractic within the state of California.

In February 2002, Dr. Neil earned his Industrial Disabilities Evaluator Certification and by March 2002, he was promoted to Senior Staff Doctor and was responsible for the training of new doctors in office procedure, paperwork and patient care. In July 2002 Dr. Neil became certified as a Qualifed Medical Evaluator. In 2003, Dr. Neil was given his own satelite office in the Mid-Wilshire district of Los Angeles, where he was responsible for all clinical activity and treatment. During this time, Dr. Neil became involved with Manipulation Under Aenesthesia.

While in California, Dr. Neil honed his skills working with athletes from the Ultimate Fighting Championship, Pride FC, Association of Volleyball Professionals, and the Association of Surfing Professionals as well as television and movie personalities. In September 2004, Dr. Neil acquired his license to practice chiropractic in the state of Washington. In November 2004, Dr. Neil married his college sweetheart Kathryn and by December of the same year, moved back to Washington. He opened his first solo practice in April 2005 in Lynnwood, Washington where he practiced family chiropractic for 2 years, until December 2006 when he moved back to Port Orchard and together with Tamara Burt, LMP, MMP, opened P³ Chiropractic & Massage.

Also in December 2006, Dr. Neil and Kathryn welcomed their first first child, a boy they named "Teo," after Dr. Neil's grandfather. The Aguilo family currently live in Port Orchard with their dog George, and 2 birds Maynard and Jasper. During his free time Dr. Neil can be found playing tennis at the local high school or as part of the Kitsap County Tennis League, playing chess, reading science fantasy books and/or spending time with his family...especially with his little boy.
